TERMS & CONDITIONS

Rooms are available to guests between 2.00pm and 6.00pm on day of arrival.  Should you be arriving in Torquay outside these times, please let us know in advance.

Rooms must be vacated by 10.00am on day of departure.  In the case of late flights we may be able to hold your luggage and you are welcome to use our lounge.

All accommodation is offered subject to availability at the time of booking and at the quoted tariffs

The proprietors cannot accept responsibility for the loss of guests’ property, unless handed in for safe custody and signed for by the proprietors

For pre-booked rooms credit card details will be taken.  However the account balance will be paid in full on departure.  Payment is by cash or credit/debit card.  Please note we do not accept cheques.

The Proprietors reserve the right to amend, curtail or terminate any contract should the conduct of any person who is part of that contract cause any detriment to the hotel or to the well being or comfort of other guests

CANCELLATION POLICY.  Should guests leave prior to the originally agreed dates, no refund will be applicable. No reduction is made for temporary absence, or meals not taken. Deposits are non-refundable.  Cancellations made on or after two days prior to arrival will be charged 100% of the total booking amount.  A non-arrival will also result in a 100% charge of the total booking amount. For longer stays, Guests may wish to consider travel insurance. 

In the event of a cancellation or curtailment and should the accommodation not be re-let, the named person who made the reservation will be liable to pay for the total cost as per this reservation.

Deposits are not refundable under any circumstances, but will be deductable from any claim for compensation arising out of cancellation or curtailment of the contract.

If the deposit has been paid using a credit or debit card authorised account number, then any payment due owing to cancellation, curtailment or damage to the property will also be made on the same account number by the proprietor.  The card holder will be notified of any such transaction.

Children under the Age of 16 MUST NOT be left on the premises without adult supervision

We are unable to provide facilities for children under the age of seven years.

Strictly no pets allowed.

Lost Keys may be charged to the value of replacement locks.

By booking this holiday you have entered into a legally binding contract with us, under the terms and conditions as detailed above.  It is recommended that you take out holiday insurance cover for your protection.

Parking.  There is parking for four cars in the Daylesford car park.  There is also on-road parking available.
